I first started taking photographs just over 20 years ago with a Practica B100 with a 28mm, 50mm and a 135mm lenses. Eventually I upgraded to 2 Praktica BC1s. I’ve had a few more cameras over the years such as a Nikon F301, Minolta 5xi and 7xi, but the best camera I ever used was a Mamiya C220 twins lens medium format and with it I had the 80mm standard lens and the 50mm wide angle. Sadly, and foolishly, I parted with it many years ago. In the last couple of years I have been introduced to digital photography and started with a Canon G6 compact camera. I have now upgraded to a DSLR and have a number of lenses, my favourite of which is the [Tokina 12-24 ATX-Pro] that I use for my landscape work.

There is a wide variety of landscape images to view on this site that are constantly being updated, areas such as the Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District, The East Coast, North Yorkshire Moors and West Yorkshire are featured. What I like about photography the most is not all pictures have to be great views you can also isolate certain details and create textured images.
