Canon do make the ultimate of all Macro lenes and thats the Canon MP-E 65mm Macro Lens which gives you a 1 to 5 times maginication, but there are other alternatives such as Extension Tubes and they all vary in sizes and probably the most popular make are the Kenko series, these are fully automatic but it is advised to set the lens/camera to manual focus and then careful focusing is needed. It is also advised to use some flash as fill in.....
